TJ Maxx hacking attack cost £59m
Tuesday, August 28th, 2007ID thieves made off with 45 million customer records to include credit card information. This security breach is having significant effect on other retailers. For example, thieves made off with $8 million from Wal-Mart in 50 counties in Florida. The cards were linked back to the TJX breach. The TJX breach is so bad that some banking associations are suing TJX for their negligence.
