Looks like self-cleaning underwear initiative started off as a military bio-chemical protection initiative. I remember when I was in the infantry we did not have the ability to change clothes often. I think self-cleaning underwear would be a good thing if I was still in the Army, but I do not see myself using self-cleaning underwear in civilian life.
