Next Gen of Wi-Fi Is Planned for Summer

Hopefully the new 802.11 “n” standard will be better than the 802.11 “g” standard. In my four bedroom house I still have some dead spots even with two wireless access points. Even when I am on the road I have trouble in some hotel rooms where I will get reception in one part of the room and then poor or no reception in another part of the room.

Digg.com posts, “The next generation of wireless Internet products certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance is expected to hit shelves this summer, even though a final standard for the technology isn’t due for another year, the industry group says.”
