Interesting to see what will happen with social networks in the future. Facebook could soon become the killer application if it can allow people to filter their profile into segments such as having a profile for your professional life and one for your social life. I like LinkedIn, but could see using Facebook for professional networking if Facebook soon becomes the “Google” for social networking.
Digg.com posts, “LinkedIn is considering opening their platform to developers. If true, this would be huge news. While a bit skeptical, there are a few reasons that this could actually be taking place. Since Facebook opened their platform almost a month ago, I have been receiving the majority of my professional contact requests through Facebook and not LinkedIn.”
