Details emerge on IRS plans to tax eBay auctions
Included in the 2008 budget request from President Bush is a provision that would expand the definition of a “broker” to include sites like eBay and Amazon, who would need to let the government know about all their users who make more than 100 sales and earn over $5,000 a year.
