I would much rather buy a home than rent one, but buying a home may not be a good investment at this time. I like owning my own home because I can make upgrades and repairs anytime I want. I do not have anyone looking over my shoulder or telling me what to do in my own home. At the same time if owning my own home may not be a good investment, maybe I need to re-evaluate renting.
