Out Of Pockets For All Your Electronic Devices?
More and more of us are starting to ask the same question about where are we going to put all of our portable electronic devices. We have run out of pockets. Manufacturers are coming up with more and more must-have portable devices, but what to do with them?
For myself, I desire to carry around a phone, a PDA, and a digital music player. For a while I was carrying a PDA and a digital music player, but now I have turned to a lite notebook. Both Averatec and Sony carry notebooks that have a footprint that is less than a sheet of paper. A lite notebook is working out best for me because it replaces my larger laptop, my PDA, my digital music player, and even my phone. I have started using Skype to make PC to phone calls. Right now I’m considering subscribing to a WiFi service so that I can make VoIP phone calls from anywhere, not just my home or WiFi hotspot. See Micropersuasion’s posting: We’re Out of Pockets for more dialog on what are we going to do with all of our portable devices.
