Digg.com posting: “Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology have completed a prototype device that can block digital-camera function in a given area. Commercial versions of the technology could be used to stymie unwanted use of video or still cameras.”
This anti-camera technology reminds me of Star Wars where the anti-camera device will shoot out infrared lasers in all directions as it detects and zap cameras. Appears that there is a great need for anti-camera technology besides for celebrities in zapping paparazzi cameras. Government and business need it to prevent espionage. The movie industry needs it to prevent video taping movies in movie theaters.
