It use to be to get a Mastercard or Visa card, you needed to fill out an application and then it would come in the mail 7 to 10 days later. Now they have a new kiosk that issues a prepaid Mastercard on the spot. I am sure these Kiosks will soon replace the racks with gift card and prepaid credit cards that you see at grocery checkouts.
I would assume a Kiosk could work well with regular credit card offers. You could go to the kiosk, review credit cards that you are eligible for, and then apply for the credit card. You would then get your approval in seconds and then out pops your new credit card. Now that would be “instant credit”.
