If you are familiar with PayPal, you know you can use this online payment system to receive and make payments online. Now PayPal, an eBay company, is expanding their payment service offering to allow payments by cell phone.
Here is how it works. If you are at the office and want to make a contribution to a group baby shower gift, you can use your cell phone to make an immediate payment to the baby shower sponsor. You just send PayPal a text message to send the money to your co-worker. All you need to do this is to have an active PayPal account and that you registered your cell phone with PayPal. That’s it.
