LL Bean’s online sales are about to surpass their traditional catalog sales. At the same time LL Bean is shipping 50 million more catalogs than the 200 million that they shipped last year. What is happening is that shoppers are using the catalogs to still shop for items, but then they order online versus mail or 800 number.
