Here is a new scam to get your debit card information and pin code at the gas pump. Thieves targeted gas stations where they altered credit card scanners on the gas pumps as well as installed cameras to capture debit card pin numbers.
When people used their debit cards at the pump, the thieves captured the debit card information with the altered credit card scanners and the thieves captured the debit card pin numbers using television cameras. The thieves then created their own debit cards and withdrew $110 thousand dollars at the ATM from various bank accounts.
