Diggscaperedilicous, The Social Networking Answer or Just A Symtom?

Personnally, I do not think Diggscaperedlicous is the answer to all of our bookmarking and social network challenges, but it is a symptom that helps to identify the problem. The problem is that we are using all these tools to share information and ideas, but the social network tools themselves are information silos. Information silos and competing standards are age-old problem in eCommerce and in information management. In these disciplines there are manageable solutions, but not sure they can be applied where billions and billions of people are sharing information.
