Have you noticed your credit card junk mail is decreasing? This is because we are not responding to credit card solicitations like we have done in the past. In 1992 there were 28 responses to each 1,000 pieces of mail sent. Now only three in 1,000 respond. Still 60 percent of credit card applications come from junk mail.
