The BlackBerry can be addictive to many. If your boss gives you a BlackBerry for work, is he manipulating you into becoming a workaholic? According to a recent study 90 percent of BlackBerry users call it a business lifesaver. This same study says that in near future we can expect employees to start suing their employers if they require the employee to carry a BlackBerry and they have to respond to messages after normal work hours.
Personally, I do not like to carry a cell phone or BlackBerry. I do not like to get interrupted by incoming calls or messages. On the other hand, there are many jobs where the job description requires you to respond to calls no matter what the time of day.
