Cell Phone-Only Households on the Rise

Digg posting: “The growth in cell phone-only households is part of a national trend led by 18- to 24-year-olds who use the Internet, says Jupiter Research, which focuses on the Internet and emerging consumer technologies.”

This new study also found that Michigan now has more cell phones than landlines. I would like to see a study on the growth of VoIP services. I would think that VoIP is eroding away the number of landlines as well. Plain Old Telephone Systems (POTS) will not be around to much longer.
