Blogging for Dollars
With 50 million blogs and only an estimated $40 million in blog revenue generated last year, there is not many dollars available for bloggers just yet. For bloggers that can gain a large readership there is hope.

Business 2.0 gives a good rundown on the state of blogging and how some successful bloggers are making money. Over time, it is expected that quite a few bloggers will be making money as big advertisers start chasing after the growing number of blog readers. I for one am increasingly turning to blogs for news, professional reading, and some just for entertainment.
