Some DSL internet providers are now letting you buy DSL month to month versus yearly contracts.
Digg.com post, “In a move that’s good for consumers everywhere, AT&T has refreshed its DSL pricing and removed the 12-month contracts that used to be standard in order to get the service. Ars has confirmed that it is indeed now possible to sign up for month-to-month DSL service from the telco,”
Month to month DSL service is good if you would like to try before you buy or if you just need high-speed internet service for a couple months at a location. The bad thing is that most DSL providers also require you to subscribe to their local phone service.
