In some ways it is unnerving what is going on with outfitting humans with Radio Frequency ID (RFID) tags, but from a business perspective it does make sense. A casino has now outfitted their waitresses with RFID tags to monitor how well waitresses are servicing customers. The “what if” scenarios for RFID technology is what is scary. Like what if they outfitted the RFID tags with electric current. Then if a manager found a waitress loafing, the manager could zap her from his office anytime the RFID tag detected a “loafing” pattern (such as being in the break room to long or coming back late from lunch or being in the bathroom too long).
