Chicagocrime.org has integrate Google Maps to a Chicago crime database. If you are apartment hunting or house hunting, this might be an useful tool to find out if the neighborhood is safe and what type of crime is happening in the area. I’m not sure I would want to search a crime geographic database on a regular basis. Especially in a large city. I’m not sure I want to know what crimes have happened in my area. It would be scary.
