Poll Shows People Give Their Passwords Away For Free Stuff

It is amazing what we will do for free stuff. VeriSign takes an off-line survey every year, and this year they were giving away free $3 Starbucks coffee vouchers. People were offered free Starbuck vouchers if they would divulge their password. What is amazing is that the majority of people interviewed gladly provided their password information. VeriSign was taking the survey to demonstrate that there is a need for stronger security guards (i.e. one of their products) than just using passwords.
