E-Mail To Cellular Using Text Messaging
I can now talk to my 18-year-old daughter electronically using old-fashion e-mail. She uses cellular SMS text messaging and rarely uses PC e-mail. I can now send her messages two ways using my computer. One way to send a SMS text message is to just use my personal e-mail and another is to use Yahoo! Mobile.
To use your personal e-mail to send a text message to a cell phone, just address your e-mail using the following format “10 digit telephone number” + “cellular carrier’s designated e-mail host name”. See cellular carrier e-mail host names below.
