A museum in Amsterdam is using bar codes and cell phones to enhance art appreciation at their art gallery. At the museum each artwork has a bar code. If a museum patron takes a picture of the bar code with their camera cell phone, they can then send the bar code image to an e-mail address and they will receive additional background information on the artwork.
